Notes about #minimalist (3)
A nomadic lifestyle is where you're freed to be... an adventurer, a couch potato, a food taster, a food maker, a jet setter, a beach bum, a jack of all trades, or a master of one, the sky is the limit to what you're free to be. Alas, so many are held captive from 9-to-5, in a cubical cell spending their precious time earning their boss's freedom instead of their own. But WHY?!
My transition from depressed hoarder to happy minimalist. Because it turns out having too much $#!+ is expensive and weighs you down if you like to move around.
Every day, before I leave home, I chant "phone, keys, wallet" which works well, but only when I remember to chant it. Fortunately, technology has advanced to the point where a phone can store digital keys and currency so I only ever need my phone. Before I travel, I chant "phone, passport, secret sling". If only they'd allow phones to store digital passports... Then I could put the phone in the bag and only need to chant "bag".
